Co-founder and CEO of Marvel Events and Marketing, Loretta has served as a leader in the field of communications for four decades, focusing on public relations, media relations, conferences, high-level administrative meetings and major event production for the Dallas Independent School District. When serving as head of Dallas ISD Communications, Loretta led a talented team that effectively handled all aspects of communications—including media services, print and electronic publications, graphic design, web development, photography, volunteer and partner relations, television and video production, and translation and interpretation services.
Loretta leads a Marvel Events + Marketing team with extensive experience in event production, media relations, public relations and social media promotion.
Marchella Simon
Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Marvel Events and Marketing, Marchella has extensive experience establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, delivering excellent customer service and successfully working to create the client’s vision.
Her extensive network of professional service providers guarantees every client exemplary support services. Marchella has developed a reputation for delivering beyond expectations. A skilled communicator who is effective at managing and meeting deadlines and budgets, she consistently recruits the best-fit staff to carry out major projects and events.
Marchella has successfully led social media campaigns in support of local and national conferences. Her clients benefit from her extensive experience overseeing publication projects, developing marketing collateral, and producing media releases and other communications.
Marchella’s involvement in the community has included working directly with the president of The Black Academy of Arts and Letters on special projects, implementing key events for her sorority, and serving as a tutor and volunteer while attending the University of North Texas, and fundraising events for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
